A.C.Patil College of Engineering belongs to the Jawahar Education Society which was founded by Shri Rohidas Patil, a distinguished social worker and formerly a Minister in the Maharashtra Government. He has over 40 institutes including schools, degree colleges , medical college, polytechnic, engineering college and eight industries spread over the district of Dhulia. Established in the year 1992, the college is affiliated to Mumbai University and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. It offers Bachelor of Engineering courses in Electronics, Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering & has already produced over 500 engineering graduates.
The college campus is spread over an area of three acres with built up area of approximately 52,000 sq.ft. The College is conveniently located close to the bus depot and has all amenities of city life.
